New Years Eve 2011 with Need A Place To Go

Terms of Business

  1. Reservation
    1. All offers are subject to availability.
    2. All room reservations should be made by email and then the appropriate deposit or full payment.
    3. All verbal bookings will be treated as provisional and will be held for a maximum of 7 days pending receipt of written confirmation and the appropriate deposit.
  1. Payment
    1. Deposits and pre-payment are required for all packages for the New Years Eve Ball 2010 event.
    2. When booking Package One, a non-refundable deposit of £25.00 per person is required on booking.
    3. When booking Package Two, a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per person is required on booking.
    4. Package Two includes everything stated in Package One on New Years Eve only. Breakfast will be provided on New Years Day and on the morning of the 2nd January 2011: Need A Place To Go is under no obligation to provide food and beverages on New Years Day and the 2nd January 2011.
    5. The balance of payment must be made by 5th December 2011.
    6. When booking a room after 1st December 2011, full payment is required.
    7. Cheques must be made payable to 'Need A Place To Go'.
    8. A completed booking form must accompany all payments by cheque or credit/ debit card. This should be sent to the address on the form.
    9. All additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled with The Holiday Inn Hotel prior to departure. At least one credit card per party is required upon arrival and check in at the Hotel to be left as a guarantee for the duration of the stay.
    10. Packages 5 and 6 must be paid in full at time of purchase
  1. Cancellations
    1. Bookings for Packages 1 and 2 not paid in full by 5th December 2011 will be deem to have been cancelled and Need A Place To Go will retain any monies paid.
    2. Monies for non or late arrivals are forfeited and cannot be transferred to cover overnight accommodation for other members of the party or other nights at the hotel
    3. Once tickets are paid in full there will be no refunds as a result of cancellation or decreases in the number of guests attending, late arrival or non-attendance.
  1. Children
    1. Children over the age of 15 years are classified as adults.
    2. Children between 3 - 15 years attending the Dinner or the Dance are charged at 50% of the adult price and under 3's are charged a cover charge of £10.00 if attending the Dinner. Proof of age will be required at the point when deposit or full payment is made.
    3. Please ensure that children refrain from running and playing in all communal areas so that we do not disturb other guests.
    4. Parents/Gaurdians are fully responsible for all children attending.
  1. Occupancy
    1. All guests registering must be 18 years of age and must present identification upon check-in. An adult aged over 18 must accompany all children.
    2. Check in time is 2pm; Check out time is 1pm.
    3. Generally, one or two persons may occupy a room with one double bed or 2 single beds. No more than four persons may occupy a room with two beds. If your party consists of five or more, an additional room or rooms must be rented to accommodate the additional people.
    4. An infant may be added to the total number of persons permitted in rooms, provided that the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Hotel has a portable crib available, which is adequate for the weight of the infant.
  1. General Information
    1. Need A Place To Go reserves the right to amend its packages and prices at any time before booking.
    2. Bookings are subject to availability and prices quoted at the time of booking.
    3. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 15%. If the general rate of VAT is altered, our prices will be modified accordingly.
    4. Gratuities are at the guest's discretion.
    5. Need A Place To Go reserves the right to alter or amend the contents of an event or to cancel an event for any reason, for example if there is a shortfall in the minimum numbers required to operate an event. In such circumstances a full refund of the money paid to Need A Place To Go will be made.
    6. Menus shown on the Need A Place To Go website and/or in other leaflets relating to this events are only to provide an indication of the dishes likely to be featured. Need A Place To Go reserves the right to amend such dishes and/or to offer suitable alternatives.
    7. All events and timings are subject to approval by the local licensing authorities. All statutory licensing regulations apply.
    8. Food and drinks from guest rooms are strictly prohibited from being brought into any of the party and dance areas.  Only drinks purchased from the hotel bar may be consumed in the dance and party areas.
    9. In the interests of health and safety, in the event of any spillage of food or drinks on the dance floor, guests are to inform any member of the hotel staff immediately.
    10. Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability to you and your guests taken in the aggregate, is limited to the price of your booking.
    11. Need A Place To Go will not be liable to you for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.
    12. Need A Place To Go will not be liable for any damage caused by you or any of your party.
    13. You are responsible for all of your belongings. Need A Place To Go will not be liable for any theft taken place in your room or any part of the party and dance areas.
    14. Please address any comments in writing to the Managing Director, Need A Place To Go within 7 days of the event.
