Pete Precise: Music took a defining turn when Pete Precise became immersed in the breakdancing scene. From there, his sound evolved into a rich blend of R&B, hip hop, soul, funk, and reggae — laying the foundation for a lifelong journey in DJ culture.
He began DJ-ing with the Sparks Sound System / Fresh Connection Crew across Reading and the South East, building a strong reputation through underground events, blues parties and supporting legendary acts such as De La Soul, KRS One, EPMD, and Stetsasonic.
Pete held a 12-year residency at RG1’s (Washington Heights), where he became the driving force behind one of Reading’s most successful R&B nights, 'Klued Up?'.
He was also an integral part of the iconic Rum Shop era, contributing to its unforgettable weekenders and events.
Taking his sound global, Pete has performed at international events including Soul Village (Spain), Grown & Sexy (Antigua), Sun & Soul (Cyprus), Break4Beatz (Kavos) and Motion Sound (St Lucia).
Closer to home, his appearances span a wide range of respected nights and brands including Doin’ it Fluid, Gold Dust, Streatham Soul Club, Jive, J.O.L. Entertainment, Party Peoplez Entertainment, Remember The Times, I Got Soul, Back In The Day, and London Routes of Reggae to name but a few.
DJ Hughie: DJ Hughie has been an influential figure in the music world since 1981. With over four decades of experience, DJ Hughie has cultivated a rich and diverse musical repertoire, focusing primarily on salsa. His commitment to delivering the highest quality salsa music has made him a respected name in the industry both in the Uk and abroad. Hughie has even DJ’d in Havana, Cuba playing salsa music in the birthplace of salsa music.

These days, you can catch DJ Hughie on 2 regular weekly radio shows, each show being on eminent, London based radio stations ‘Colourful Radio’ and also on ‘Jazz Funk Soul Radio (JFSR)’.

Tony Nanton: Tony Nanton played his first ever set in 1985, and since then he has promoted his own events, including DJ led nights, with guests DJs covering multiple genres, such as Craig Charles, David Rodigan, Pete Tong, EZ, Norman Jay and more.
As the market changed, he hosted Boat Parties and Comedy nights, and slowly fell into Weddings and Private bookings. After covering for other companies, he branched out on his own as an event organiser under the name of Sugarbumps, and the whole ethos was about playing as many great tunes as possible. Tracks he grew up with, combined with his client’s favourite tracks.
Over the last five years, Sugarbumps have played across the UK, and they have a Festival alter-ego, Back For Good. This has led to the guys playing at Bestival, Common People, and The Big Feastival.
Paul Alexander: Paul is part of the Award Winning Event Team Terrace Soul, specialising in Soul events mainly in Bristol whilst raising money for various charities.
He has been a resident DJ at Bambalan Roof Top Terrace for 7 years hosting and curating sell out local events.
He was in the esteemed company of Roni Size and Daddy G of Massive Attack see attached Legends of Bristol where he hosted a night called Soultrain which was launched in 1992 and Voted The Top Soul Cub outside of London before transitioning to daytime events in 2019 as Terrace Soul.
He held a 2-Year residency at Motion, which was Voted One of The Top Undeground Clubs in The World, attracting up to 2,000 attendees across 5 rooms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcR1gwRRbQc
Also Soultrain was held at The Colston with Craig Charles Hall for 25 Years, attracting 2,000.
TERRACE SOUL is an Award Winning Event Team that has been hosting events in both the UK and Spain for more than 30 Years+ specialising in Daytime Events and Weekender’s playing Modern Contemporary Soul, Rare Groove and Jazz Funk.
Satisfaxion: Ian and Freddy Gee, collectively known as Satisfaxion, are specialists in party music genres and have built a strong reputation on the UK entertainment scene.
Ian began his DJ career in 1985, playing at small functions before performing at venues such as Mona Lisa and Tudor Rose under the name Sphinx Master alongside other DJs.
A few years later, Ian decided to branch out on his own under the name Satisfaxion. While continuing to build a loyal client base through private functions and events, he later teamed up with Freddy Gee.
Their big break came when they promoted a Friday night rave at Keats Wine Bar in Park Royal, an event that ran successfully for nine consecutive years.
Since then, Satisfaxion has become one of West London’s finest DJ outfits, regularly hired by leading promoters to provide outstanding musical entertainment for crowds across the UK.
Jerry Bascombe: Jerry is an influential figure in the UK music scene, known for his talent as a DJ and his visionary leadership as the founder of TSOL (The Soul of London Radio). With a career rooted in passion, music, and community-building, Jerry has created spaces where music lovers can connect and celebrate the art of sound.
This online radio station is dedicated to broadcasting soulful music to a global audience, providing a platform for emerging and established artists alike. TSOL is a testament to Jerry’s commitment to spreading the soulful sounds he loves while supporting a thriving music community. Lisa & Mark AKA 'DJ Fuego': Lisa & Mark are professional international Salsa dance instructors, performers and choreographers in Oxford.
They have taught and performed at some of the finest salsa events in the world including congresses in New York, Brussels, Amsterdam, Norway, Prague, Turkey, Boston, Luxembourg, Antwerp, Manchester, London, Bulgaria, Athens, and many UK-based salsa events.
Lisa has also broke the Guinness World Record for Spinning in 2008!
They have trained in all styles of salsa and incorporate all their knowledge into their classes. They also do their best to give personal attention within the lessons wherever possible.

Barry B: Barry originally was a well-known DJ in his home town of Aylesbury and High Wycombe playing music from a young age and crafted his skill to become a DJ of all genres.
He is now residing in our host county of Oxford and brought his passion as a DJ to Oxford as well as the surrounding areas.
We now have him on board for The New Year's Ball.
PD Coolie: PD Coolie is a highly respected and well-known reggae DJ from South London who has built a strong reputation across the UK music scene through his passion, consistency and love for reggae music.
A regular on the music circuit both in London and throughout the UK, PD Coolie is recognised for delivering quality musical selections that blend reggae classics with the very best of past and present reggae hits.
Alongside his live appearances, PD Coolie is also a respected radio personality, regularly featuring on a popular radio station called Venture FM.
For the past 10 years, PD Coolie has been a valued part of the entertainment lineup at the NAPTG New Year's Eve Ball, consistently helping to create unforgettable celebrations and keeping dancefloors alive year after year.
Roy Medallion: Roy Medallion, is one of the UK’s leading Lovers Rock DJs stretching as far back as the 1970s.
He first began entertaining crowds at birthday parties for friends and family, then, not long after he began to venture into playing at nightclubs.By the 1980s his reputation as a Lovers Rock DJ saw him gaining regular bookings at clubs such as Lambard, Pier One, Night Moves, Dougies, Shenola’s and Mingles to name a few.
Towards the end of the 1980s he began to start making his name as a radio presenter. You'll be able to hear his style of Lovers Rock and Reggae anthems, from classic reggae romance to modern-day love jams that keep the flame alive.
Whether you’re winding down with someone special or just vibing solo, Roy plays Lovers Rock Hits two hours on a few radio stations.
BACK 2 BASICS: Back 2 Basics is the partnership of Gussie T and Master G, whose close friendship began during their primary school years while growing up just one road away from each other.
As teenagers, their passion for music developed through their involvement in the sound system culture, particularly with the renowned Lover's Selecta from Balham, South London.
In 1999, the pair officially came together to form Back 2 Basics and built their own sound system. With Gus taking the role of DJ and Glen commanding the microphone as MC, they quickly earned recognition from friends, promoters and music lovers alike. This success soon led to regular appearances on the music circuit, performing at private and corporate events, UK music weekenders and international events.
Gussie T is also a regular DJ on Venture FM, known for his unique sense of humour, energetic presentation style and appreciation for a wide range of musical genres.
In recent years, Malcolm joined the team as manager, bringing strong technical and organisational expertise that has further strengthened and enhanced the Back 2 Basics brand.
Cultural Roots Sound System: What started as a musical hobby back in in September 1979, these 2 friends from Bedford, Bedfordshire came together and played at a friends party and a musical dream was born - Cultural Roots.
Cultural Roots have built their own unique sound system including speaker boxes, amplifiers and pre amps, which are still going strong.
Cultural Roots Sound after 40 years are still driving their musical hobby and are most definitely keeping up the sound system culture where ever they play.
This is a sound in the present and a driving force into the future.
Join them in the Reggae room and witness some fantastic apeakers the light up along with sound-system memorabilia.
